Six psycho-markers
Four distress dimensions and two resource dimensions, measured by a 26-item self-report questionnaire in about six minutes.
For research and industry
Characterize study or cohort participants with a standardized measure; results are reported in aggregate form.
For local health areas
With EmyMap, French primary care networks (CPTS) and local authorities measure the barriers to obesity prevention, sector by sector.

Answers to the most common questions about our psycho-behavioral assessment solution.
What is EmyDiag?
EmyDiag is a psycho-behavioral assessment instrument for obesity. This 26-item self-report questionnaire measures six psycho-markers in about six minutes: four describe distress, two describe resources. They are measurements, not diagnostic markers.
Who is EmyDiag for?
Clinical research and cohort teams, the health industry and insurers, to characterize populations with a standardized measure. Scores are computed by Emycare and results are reported in aggregate form. With EmyMap, the same measure applies to local health areas in France: primary care networks (CPTS) and local authorities.
What is the scientific basis of EmyDiag?
The dimensions measured build on a literature review published in Advances in Nutrition (2026). The questionnaire was developed with healthcare professionals and patients, then reduced from 57 to 26 items over successive data collection waves.
What is the validation status of EmyDiag?
The psychometric validation of EmyDiag is the subject of a manuscript in preparation. A clinical concordance study comparing EmyDiag with assessment by obesity specialists is under way, with enrollment ongoing. The prognostic value of the measure will be the subject of a dedicated research program.
